Over the last few weeks, COVID-19 has brought many changes to our lives. As a business, we have been proactively monitoring the outbreak and applying the most up to date government advice to the business activities. Our number one priority is the health and well-being of our employees and our customers.
Firstcall Trade Services Ltd continues to deliver first-class emergency service cover to our customers and have been overwhelmed with lovely messages of support and thanks from our customers whom are taking the time to praise our wonderful staff throughout these difficult times.
Our main aim is to ensure the health and well-being of our colleagues, friends, families and customers and we are carefully following government guidelines whilst also ensuring all emergencies are still attended to. Our team of on-call operatives are fully prepared and have completed essential training to ensure health and safety is never compromised. We have taken steps to ensure risk of COVID-19 is minimised:
- Work carried out in people’s homes, will be provided only by a tradesperson who is well and has no symptoms of COVID-19.
- We have applied the rule of a 2 metre distance from any customer and if possible ask tenants to stand in a separate room of the house.
- No work is carried out in any household which is isolating or where an individual is being shielded, unless repairs are a risk to life or absolutely essential and cannot wait. In these cases, we will take the trusted advice of our Health and Safety Advisor.
